About This Product
The Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn Starter Deck (Amethyst & Steel) is an official English release pre-constructed card game deck published by Ravensburger. Ready to play straight out of the box, this factory sealed package pairs the deceptive bounce synergies of Amethyst with the unyielding, board-controlling armour of Steel.
Rise of the Floodborn shook up the Lorcana scene right from launch, largely because of the cunning tactical engine pioneered inside this very deck. Helmed by the elusive Merlin (Shapeshifter) and the regal resolve of Tiana (Celebrating Princess), this list introduced tabletop players to the infamous Madam Mim and Merlin synergy loop. If you love driving your opponents barmy by plucking your own glimmers back into your hand to repeatedly trigger enter-and-leave abilities while hiding safely behind sturdy Steel bodyguards and Resist buffs, you'll feel right at home here. It's an exceptionally rewarding starter experience that teaches real tactical sequencing, complete with a fresh booster pack to rip open once you've claimed your first twenty lore.

Key Highlights & Tactical Synergies
- The Legendary Bounce Loop: Amethyst shines by cycling characters in and out of play. Bouncing cards like Merlin (Goat) or Merlin (Rabbit) back to hand with Madam Mim lets you reuse their lucrative draw and lore triggers round after round.
- Steadfast Steel Resilience: Steel provides muscle and defensive bulk. Between bodyguard characters absorbing hits and the debut of the Resist keyword mitigating incoming challenge damage, your questing engine stays firmly protected.
- Pack Hunting: The included 12-card Rise of the Floodborn booster pack gives you immediate upgrade options for your deck, alongside the exciting chance to hunt down coveted set staples and jaw-dropping Enchanted rare cards like Cinderella (Stouthearted) or Beast (Tragic Hero).
